[Report by Kong Fan, European Times reporter] On January 7, Chongqing Tianshi Hot Spring Group held a celebratory reception at the Chateau d'Esclimont in France, announcing the official completion of its acquisition of the 16th-century castle hotel. Stephane LEMOINE, Mayor of Val de voise, where the hotel is located; Yang Changlin, Chairman of Chongqing Tianshi Hot Spring Group; Yang Yunfan, President; Zhang Guoliang, President of the Hong Kong News Federation; Shi Renlin, lawyer from Deheng Law Firm involved in the acquisition; and business and tourism professionals attended the reception.
In his speech, Yang Changlin stated that this acquisition represents a successful collaboration between Chinese and French enterprises. Cooperation between China and France has a long history, and there has been excellent cultural exchange. Our presence in France is not only to learn from French business management experience and culture, but also to promote our Chinese traditional culture. France is a country with a strong cultural atmosphere, and the Chateau d'Esclimont is a microcosm of this. However, from the perspective of hotel development, elegant culture is losing its vitality. Our goal in acquiring the hotel is to inject new vitality. He stated that the castle hotel will undergo large-scale maintenance and improvements, preserving the original appearance of the French cultural heritage to the greatest extent possible while adding Chinese dynamism. In the future, this place will not only showcase authentic French culture but also serve as a venue to display the richness of Chinese culture.
Mayor Lemoyne stated that the Chateau d'Esclimont is a symbol of local culture, and this collaboration between French and Chinese companies will undoubtedly result in a win-win situation. He believes that Chinese companies will inherit the soul and essence of this culture, and we also hope to experience Chinese culture and traditions here.
When asked about his feelings on a historically significant castle being acquired by a Chinese company, he said, "I am proud that our culture is appreciated by Chinese companies and people, and I hope it can become a platform for the fusion of two cultures." He added that the Chinese investment will create over 100 new jobs, which is exciting.
Lawyer Shi Renlin participated in the entire acquisition process, from project recommendation to contract negotiation and drafting of legal documents. He believes that this is another successful project among several cases he has handled involving Chinese companies purchasing French castle hotels or wineries. This project perfectly combines Chinese business vitality with French elegant culture. He introduced that, as an information-rich professional firm, they recommended 5 castle hotels to Tianshi Group. After careful market research and analysis, Yang Changlin ultimately chose Esclimont. Its potential is significant, both geographically and in terms of market prospects, as the development of the China-France tourism industry is limitless.

It is understood that the initial investment from the Chinese side will reach 30 million euros, with a total investment expected to reach approximately 100 million euros. This investment will not only be used to renovate the castle's infrastructure but also to commission French designers to make reasonable improvements, highlighting the castle's historical background and adding Chinese elements.
Esclimont is 60 kilometers from Paris and is a true castle hotel with very private spaces. Entering through the hotel gate, one passes through a forest, and after two turns, one can see a large green space, a lake, and the castle hotel surrounded by the lake. The hotel rooms are very beautiful, and the hotel's restaurant also enjoys a good reputation locally.
That evening, to celebrate the arrival of the castle's new owners, the hotel also held a music and fireworks show.
